It’s always lovely when we at Brisbane Wedding Planners get to help out a personal friend.

Ashleigh has studied Event Management and also assisted as a student with us, so it was no surprise that she took complete control of her own wedding. With just a few recommendations here and there and a double check of final orders Ashleigh & Shawn were set to have a fantastic day. It truly was a pleasure to be there on their Big Day to finalise the set up and ensure the caterers, DJ and bar staff were all on the right track.

I must add that this was the easiest wedding day I’ve ever had due to Ash being so meticulous with everything, so thanks Ash!

I was interview for B105’s Don’t Tell The Bride which was aired a couple of weeks ago and below was from a short phone interview with The Sunday Mail regarding the ‘average’ costs for weddings.

To all you brides and grooms out there, don’t panic, you don’t have to spend that much money! Know your limits, set a budget; and stick to it.

I seem to be a very lucky wedding planner; I meet the most amazing couples, one being Antonija & Robert. I had a blast assisting with their special day, even though we had to intricately fold 180 napkins!

The reception was held at the Croatian Sports Club at Cararra, where Antonija & Rob had 180 guests attend from as far away as Germany. Together with a special team from Brisbane Wedding Planners and some trusty suppliers we decorated the club with wall linings to napkins.

All the teams (you know who you are) from caterers, wedding cake maker, hospitality to wedding photographers came together to create a fantastic day for our lovely couple; so thank you once again for all your hard work! We look forward to working with you all again.

As I’ve mentioned in the past, having a Wedding Planner doesn’t mean you have to spend thousands of dollars. The modern Wedding Planner will help you with as little or as much as you require.
